Method of Rooting Samsung Galaxy Star GT-S5282

1. Rooting By way of RECOVERY:

Part A:

Download CWM recovery
Download Odin
Download Super SU

Firstly, boot into odin mode by turn off your phone and wait 10 seconds. This is to ensure your phone has completely switched off.
Hold down power+volume down+home key. A screen will come asking you to continue. Press voume up key to continue.

Open odin as administrator and then click pda and choose recovery file downloaded from attachment. You will have to unzip the odin and recovery. Sometimes Odin wouldnot show files on desktop so make sure recovery is in DRIVE:/ANY NAME/ RECOVERY.TAR

Flash it by clicking start.

The phone will restart.

Rebooting in into recovery or boot loader directly from ABD For beginners

1-Download adb and install adb drivers for your phone (iam using htc)

2-extract the files to your c directory in a folder named adb(creat one)

3-once the files are located in c:\adb go to start menu then search for cmd

4-type in cd c:\adb then click enter

5-type in adb devices it will show the connected devices
it should be bunch of numbers

6-if you can,t see them it means adb drivers for your device are NOT INSTALLED

7-THEN Install Driver using

** Install Moborobo Suite http://www.moborobo.com/products/moborobo.html It will install Drivers for your phone **

then in command prompt type: adb reboot boot loader

if you want recovery, type in: adb reboot recovery

after the device is recovery

then select : Install zip from SD by moving Volume UP or Down key to move the cursor in recovery. Press Power for Selection. then Choose zip from SDcard go to the place where you have copied UPdate-supersu file and select it then it is done
